This COVID-19 crisis has not called for MICAH to shift our priorities; it has made our priorities more important than ever as the inequity is laid bare for all to see— Who can easily continue their education with devices and WiFi and who cannot? Who is most at risk of losing the roof over their heads and who is not? Who is left in crowded jails because of their inability to pay and who is not?

MICAH will continue our work of asking direct questions of city and county leaders around equity both during and after this crisis and will continue to hold public officials accountable to using a lens of equity in their decision making.
