Zoom Webinar

About the event

Leaders and organizers from two of Gamaliel's national priority campaigns —Civil Rights of Immigrants and Transformational Justice — have begun to meet together. They have begun to discuss the many ways that people impacted by the criminal legal system and those impacted by the immigration system face some of the same hardships:  family separation, difficulty finding housing and employment, and more.

Join us on January 16 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. CT (7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT). We will hear some of the experiences of people impacted by both systems, and we will explore what it would look like if we could all stand together in the fight for our common human dignity, especially in an election year. The theme of the night is: “Somos Uno/We Are One.”
