About the event

Join MICAH Memphis, Tennessee Interfaith Power & Light, and Young, Gifted, & Green for a day-long workshop exploring the power of spiritual nonviolence in the traditions of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Gandhi.


We gather to root ourselves in the sacred values and practices of our spiritual traditions - practices that foster justice, nurture community, and deepen our responsibility to care for creation.


This workshop features four interactive topics:

  • nonviolent nonresistance and direct action

  • mutual aid

  • storytelling in a strategic manner
