About the event

Calling All Youth!

Over the past year, we as the MICAH Youth Council have built power, sharpened our organizing and leadership skills, and planned impactful actions and now is your chance to join the youth-led movement!

Come to our Interest Meeting on Saturday, February 8th, from 5-6pm at Wesley Foundation- University of Memphis (3625 Midland Ave, Memphis, TN 38112). All Memphis and Shelby County Youth, grades 6-12 are welcomed!

The MICAH Youth Council (MYC) serves to make MICAH a truly generationally diverse coalition, joining together to give a more powerful voice for issues of justice in our city.

From speaking directly with elected officials about the issues that matter most to us, uplifting youth input through a mock election, and creating voter guides to improve voter literacy, the possibility of actions we can take together are endless.
