MICAH August Meeting

  • Olivet Fellowship 4450 Knight Arnold Road Memphis, TN, 38118 United States (map)

Join MICAH (Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope) for our monthly meeting!  Tuesday, August 8 from 7-8:30pm.  This month our meeting will again be hosted by Olivet Fellowship (4450 Knight Arnold Road). We'll hear from Rondell Trevino, who will speak on the current immigrant detention crisis that saw more than 83 Latino immigrants detained by ICE this past week. Rondell will lay out a community-based response to the terror that has resulted from these new policies.

MICAH is a growing coalition of faith-based and community organizations joining together to give a more powerful voice to those who often have none. We will organize and speak to our community and its leaders on issues of justice, always seeking to "do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God." The purpose of MICAH is not to replace each congregation or community organization's efforts, but instead, to amplify the voice and the impact by working together.
